kinabukasan ay klase uli nila Devon kay Mrs. Perez
pagkatapos ng klase ay pinaiwan sila James at Devon

"Devon, James, as we all remember yesterday, I gave you detention" panimula ng prof nila
"yes ma'am" sagot ni Devon
"the detention I gave you is not a simple detention as you know" dugtong ng prof nila
"what do you mean ma'am?" tanong ni James
"well Mister Reyes, what do you think is the subject that I'm teaching?" pilosopong sagot nito
"theater class ma'am" sagot ni James
"so that's the answer to your question" punto nito
"what do you mean ma'am?, we'll participate on the theater play?" tanong ni Devon
"exactly Miss Soriano, buti naman at nagkakaintindihan tayo,
I was serious when I told you that I'll make you the main character" sagot nito kay Devon
"but ma'am, I'm not a good actress" pangongontra naman ni Devon
"but you're a good singer right?" tanong ni Mrs. Perez kay Devon
"I guess ma'am" sagot ni Devon
"then we're having a musical play" sagot naman ni Mrs. Perez
"hala! ma'am naman.." gulat na sabi ni Devon
"you pay the price Miss Soriano" sagot ng prof nila
"I'll announce the play at the assembly. James, you and your friends should participate also. all of you will have your role, mag aaudition kayo ng mga kaibigan mo para mahanapan kayo ng role, understand?" sabi pa ni Mrs. Perez
"yes ma'am" sagot ni James
at pinaalis na sila ng prof nila

"myyyyyyy!!! ano ba to?! hindi ako sanay kumanta sa harap ng madaming tao!" asar na sabi ni Devon, pero kahit ano pang sabihin nya ay wala na syang magagawa.
"don't worry, I bet you're a good singer" sagot ni James habang naglalakad sila ni Devon
"hmmm.. sana kayanin ko, uy sorry ha?" sagot naman ni Devon
"it's okay, don't mind it"
"ang bait mo naman" sabi ni Devon at ngumiti
kumakabog na naman ang dibdib ni James
"okay ka lang ba? hindi mo na naman ako iniimik" kumakabog na din ang dibdib ni Devon, kasama nya ang crush nya
"yeah I'm fine, I'm sorry, I'm just a little shy" paliwanag ni James
"shy? bakit naman? para naman taung di magkaibigan nyan eh"
"sorry"
"why?! what are you sorry for?"
hindi na sumagot si James
"nu ba naman to.. pinapakaba ako" sa isip isip ni Devon
"this is me at first, but once we're close, you'll find my other side far different from this one" biglang sabi ni James
napangiti naman si Devon sa narinig
"okay, so let's be close then" aya ni Devon
"how?" tanong ni James
"I don't know, we do stuff together?" sagot ni Devon
"okay, but not today, I have to attend something" sabi ni James
"okay, how about on Saturday"
"sure, after class?"
"yeah, sure, so .. it's a date then?"
"umm okay" sabay ngiting sagot ni James at inayos ang salamin
"I'll go ahead now, be careful on your way home" paalam ni James
"you too" napangiti din si Devon

"ang cute nya talaga!! lalo na nung ngumiti sya, haaaayyy.." kilig na sabi ni Devon habang naglalakad palayo
"wow, her smile, her eyes, so addictive!" sabi naman ni James habang papunta sa kotse nya

"James!" tawag ng isang babae kay James
"ate?" tugon ni James
"you're going to the meeting right?" tanong ni April
"yeah, why?" sagot naman ni James
"pwede bang makisakay papunta dun?" tanong ni April sa kapatid
"of course, but, where's your car?" tanong ni James
"long story short, nasira car ko, and I need a ride baby bro" lambing ni April sa kapatid
"don't call me that, I'm not that young anymore" asar na sagot ni James at pinasakay na ang kapatid
natawa naman si April sa reaksyon ng kapatid nya
"why naman? you're my baby brother, and you can't deny that fact" sagot naman nya na may pang-aasar
"okay! fine, just don't call me that in front of my friends" natatawang sagot ni James
"deal!" sagot ni April na nakangiti
nagumpisa nang magdrive si James, at habang nasa daan sila ay binuksan nya ang radio

"yeah?" tugon naman ni James
"do you have a girlfriend now?" tanong ni April sa kapatid
"what made you ask that?" tanong ni James
"I saw you with a girl earlier, she's pretty" ngiting sabi ni April
"what?! you saw us? for real?" gulat na reaksyon ni James
"yeah! for real! I'm not a liar you know!" sagot naman ni April
"so who is she? your girlfriend?" dugtong pa nya
"no, she's just a friend of mine" sagot naman ni James
"oh really?! baby bro, I know you, the way you look at her?! huh! please, don't deny it, she's not your girlfriend, but you like her, right?"
stop light. hindi sumasagot si James, pero tumingin sya sa kapatid
"I knew it! that look in your eyes says everything!!" tuwang sabi ni April
"what's her name?" tanong nya sa kapatid
"Devon .. Devon Soriano" maikling sagot ni James
"Soriano? does she have older sister?" tanong ni April
"I'm not sure, but maybe? why?" sagot naman ni James
"nothing, if she does, maybe I know her sister" sagot ni April

dumating na sila sa kumpanya ..

"good afternoon everyone, sorry were a little late" sabi ni April at umupo
umupo naman si James sa tabi nya
"okay, so everyone is here now? let's start the meeting" sabi ng isang lalake

tahimik namang nakikinig ang magkapatid sa mga sinasabi ng mga tao sa paligid nila
"so Miss and Mister Reyes, what do you say about our proposal?" tanong ng isang babae
"well, as we listen to your proposals Mrs. Conar, me and my brother agree that we have to review it, since I see a something here, we don't want to be bankrupt Mrs. Conar. and I'm not really sure on what you want us to do. I don't see any connection between our company and what you want to happen. don't take me wrong Mrs. Conar, I just want to be sure on what we are doing here. we'll give our answer within this week, thank you." sagot ni April sa babae
"okay, be sure to review it well, you'll see a connection there, maybe you weren't listening a while ago Miss Reyes" sagot ng babae
ngumiti naman si April at sinabing "I'm afraid I have to contradict you with that Mrs. Conar, I was listening,and if you want I'm willing to repeat ALL that you have said, just to prove it to you."
"no need Miss Reyes, just read our proposal, thank you"
nakipag shake hands na sila April at James sa mga kameeting at umalis na din

"a little harsh there ate" bulong ni James sa kapatid habang naglalakad sila palabas
natawa naman si April sa sinabi ni James
"not really, I was just being professional" sagot ni April
"fine, what ever you say, is that what they taught you at Management course?" sabay ngiting sagot ni James

"lets have ice cream!" biglang aya ni April sa kapatid
"sure! I wont argue with that!" sagot ni James na nakangiti

sa ice cream shop malapit sa pinuntahan nila ..

"you'll pay my ice cream!" sabay nilang sabi at nagturuan
nagtawanan naman ang magkapatid
"as if you don't have your own money Mister Reyes?!" sabi ni April
"and as if you don't have your's Miss Reyes" sagot naman ni James
at muli silang nagtawanan, pagkaorder ay umupo na sila.
"we should bring home some for Thea" sabi ni April habang kumakain ng ice cream
"yeah, she'll cry if we won't bring her, this is her favorite" pag sangayon naman ni James

pagkatapos nilang kumain ay umuwi na sila
sa kotse ay binuksan na naman ni James ang radio.

"this Devon of yours, when did you met her?" biglang tanong ni April
"hmm? we were classmate since we were freshmen, but I guess she doesn't notice someone like me" sagot ni James
"what do you mean someone like you? why? are you Mister Quiet at school?" pabirong tanong ni April
"actually, yeah, to someone I'm not close though" sagot ni James
"hah! liar! so, you mean, hindi pa kayo close ni Devon?" tanong muli ni April na napapangiti sa sinabi ng kapatid
"yeah, but .. we will be .. soon, we have a know-each-other date on Saturday" nakangiting sagot ni James
"oohh.. you want me to help you? kung anong porma mo and things?" alok ni April
"no, I'm fine. I'll just ask for your help next time" sagot ni James
"okay, what ever you want" sagot naman ni April

"hey, I just remember, are you really going to review the proposal of Mrs. Conar?" pagbabago ni James ng usapan
"of course! .. not! haha, I'll give it to dad, for him to review, I'm still in training, may I remind you?
besides, I really saw something wrong with their proposal, better show it to dad for assurance" paliwanag ni April
"oh, okay. dad is so busy this days, that we even have to attend his other meetings for him." sabi ni James
"it's okay, I enjoy it naman eh, don't you?" nakangiting sagot ni April
"yeah, it's kinda fun, to see adluts present to us, haha, weird." sabi ni James
saglit pa ay dumating na sila sa bahay

"hi dad, good evening" bati ng magkapatid sa ama nila
"where's Thea?" tanong ni James
pagkarinig naman sa mga kapatid ay agad bumaba ang bunso nilang si Thea
"ate! kuya! I missed you!" lambing nito sa mga kapatid
"we brought you ice cream" sabi ni April at iniabot sa kapatid ang dala nila
"wow! thank you!" at humalik sa mga pisngi nila
"so, how was the meeting?" tanong ng daddy nila
"ate was a monster!" sabi ni James at tumakbo palayo sa kapatid na si April
"ha! ha! I wasn't!" sagot naman ni April
"yeah right! like you were Miss nice gal?!" pang-aasar padin ni James sa kapatid
"what happened?" nakangiting tanong ng daddy nila at inaya na silang kumain ng hapunan
"dad, you better review their proposal, I see something there, I just can't point my finger on it" sabi ni April
"okay, thank you for going at the meeting to represent me" pasalamat ng daddy nila
"no problem dad" sagot ng dalawa

pagkatapos kumain ay ginawa na nila April at James ang mga school work nila
si Thea naman ay labas pasok sa kwarto ng mga kapatid para magpatulong sa mga homework nya
mag aalas onse na nag matapos si James sa mga ginagawa nya, nakatulog si Thea sa kwarto nya
binuhat nya ito at dinala sa sariling kwarto, napadaan si James sa kwarto ni April
"good night ate, you need a ride tomorrow to school?" tanong nya
"wow, sure! thanks! good night" tumayo si April at hinalikan ang noo ni James
"sweet dreams baby bro" sabay ngiti
ngumiti din si James at pumunta na sa sariling kwarto
humiga sya at pumikit, bigla nyang nakita ang mukha ni Devon
napadilat sya at napangiti, naalala nya na magkikita sila ni Devon sa Sabado.
maya maya pa ay nakatulog na si James.
